At Custom Home Studio, many of our products are customizable, made-to-order, or prepared based on selected size, finish, material, and project requirements. Please review our refund and return policy carefully before placing an order.
Order Review and Customization
For customizable products, we may review your order details, selected options, customization requirements, production feasibility, packaging, and shipping requirements before production begins.
If additional confirmation is required, we may contact you by email before moving forward.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled before production or preparation has started.
Once an order has entered production, preparation, customization, or procurement, cancellation may not be accepted.
For custom, made-to-order, or project-based products, cancellation after confirmation may be subject to material, labor, design, production, or handling costs that have already been incurred.
Returns
Because many of our products are customizable or made to order, we do not accept returns for the following unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:
Custom-sized products
Made-to-order products
Products with customized finish, color, material, or design direction
Project-based custom orders
Final sale or specially confirmed items
Standard non-custom products may be eligible for return only if approved by our team in advance.
To request a return, please contact us first. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
Approved for return by our team
Unused and in original condition
Returned in original packaging
Returned with all parts, accessories, and documentation
Shipped back within the approved return window
Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, damage, defect, or an incorrect item.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
Your order number
Photos of the item
Photos of the packaging
Photos of the damaged or defective area
A brief description of the issue
We will review the case and provide the next steps, which may include replacement parts, repair, replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.
Shipping Damage
For fragile items such as mirrors, framed wall art, furniture, and decorative accessories, please keep all original packaging until the issue has been reviewed.
Damage claims may not be accepted if the original packaging has been discarded before review.
Natural Material and Handmade Variations
Some products may include natural wood, textured canvas, hand-applied finishes, hand-painted details, or artisanal materials.
The following may not be considered defects:
Natural wood grain variation
Slight color variation
Minor texture variation
Small differences in hand-painted details
Slight finish differences caused by lighting or screen display
Minor measurement tolerance within reasonable production standards
Product images are for reference and may vary slightly from the final product due to material, finish, lighting, production batch, or customization requirements.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method.
Please allow processing time depending on your payment provider.
Original shipping fees may not be refundable unless the refund is due to our error, damage, defect, or incorrect shipment.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be available for approved cases, depending on product availability, customization requirements, and production feasibility.
Custom, made-to-order, or project-based items may not be eligible for exchange unless there is a confirmed defect, damage, or fulfillment error.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable:
Custom or made-to-order products
Products already approved for production
Products modified based on customer requirements
Clearance or final sale items
Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or incorrect handling
Items returned without prior approval
Installation and Handling
Customers are responsible for proper installation, handling, and use of the product.
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, incorrect assembly, or failure to follow installation instructions.
